The Victron SmartShunt 500A/50mv is an all-in-one battery monitor, but without a display. It uses the screen of your phone for all settings and parameter readings. The SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your phone (or tablet) so you can conveniently read all monitored battery parameters, such as state of charge, remaining autonomy, historical data and much more. It can also be connected and read with a GX device. The connection to the SmartShunt is done with a VE.Direct cable, such as the Victron VE.Direct 3m cable - ASS030530230. Parameters such as charge status, time remaining, course information and much more can be monitored. The SmartShunt is the perfect alternative for systems where less wiring is desired and where a permanent display per monitor, such as the BMV battery monitor, is not the desired option. The SmartShunt has Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used to: control a second battery, track the midpoint or connect a temperature sensor.
