I’ve had the Lindy Fralin pickups in my Tele for about a month but got to use them at a live gig for the first time this past weekend. I was blown away. These are the best sounding pickups I have ever had. I converted a Deluxe telecaster to a Nashville. I ordered the full prewired control plate with the 5 way switch. A pair of vintage hot tele pickups and a middle vintage hot strat. Probably my favorite position was neck pickup alone. I have never had a tele neck pickup that cut so clear and defined. In just about any tele I’ve ever owned in my 45 years of playing, I seldom used but I was half the gig on the neck pickup. Before I put the Lindy Fralins in this guitar, my #1 was a custom shop tomatillo strat. And the strat is a phenomenal guitar but the Tele with Lindy Fralins is now my #1.
