I read the reviews on this page and then brought the Split Blades with High Output ( 500k pots) for a Fender American Performer Mustang. I play indie and rock and found the Yosemite pickups too twangy for the music style. These pickups have really done what I was looking for. It’s much more of a modern sound now and works really well with every rock/indie/metal effect I’m using. My other guitar is a Les Paul with Seymour Duncan ‘Whole Lotta Humbuckers’ fitted and I can now switch between the guitars without the Mustang sounding weak and underpowered in comparison. I have nothing but good things to say. To say I’m delighted is an understatement. It’s great to have my Mustang back as my guitar of choice. I’m in the UK so it wasn’t cheap. Shipping from the USA was expensive but very quick and professional. There is also the import tax charge (£50) which needs paying to get it through customs and this is separate to everything else. Expensive but definitely worth it and the guitars now a keeper for life!
