This is a unique sounding pickup. For those more accustomed to either the strat/tele/single coil or the LP/PRS humbucker sound, this pickup straddles the two in a very versatile, musical way. If you lean toward the twang the middle and bridge settings of the Alnico Noiseless P90s will give you what you need plus some often missed gravitas. If you enjoy the power and depth of the Neck HB in your LP/335 type of guitar you’ll like the added brilliance of this version. Projection and versatility are the hallmarks of this pickup. Miraculously, these are as noiseless and hum-free as any humbucker. I have these in my Fender MIM tele which used to be their HH w/ coil split model. Now it’s just a quiet, slamming, P90 tele whose owner loves the way it plays and sounds.
