Description If you've never knit a bottom-up sweater before, then you're in for a treat! This is a fantastic first sweater for a beginner or any skill level. Using super bulky yarn, this sweater knits up crazy fast and the bottom-up construction means you can work the sleeves and body separately! Making it a portable project you can take anywhere. Experience biding off in the middle of your work is helpful as well. It uses between 275 yards and 350 yards (250-330m) of a super bulky weight cotton tube yarn like Bernat Maker Big and 10mm and 15mm (US 15 19) circular needles with a cord long enough to accommodate 120 stitches. DPNs or 16" circulars in the same size may be used for the sleeves and neck but I think an interchangeable needle set is best so you can make the cord longer or shorter as you go!
